What is a CMS, or Content Management System?
A content management system is a database driven website editing application that allows website owners and webmasters to easily add web pages, update content, add photos, create forms, and so much more without having any knowledge of HTML. The website updates are made by using an administrative backend. The administrative backend is accessed by logging into the website. A CMS website allows anyone with a computer to update their website from any computer connected to the internet.
